The recent Public Private Join Forum in Asian Region held in Ha Long, Viet Nam last Nov 28-30 provided MDPPA the opportunity to discuss with Heads of Delegate and other Asian States, after the Philippines’ Accession to 1958 Agreement. The aim of the annual Forum is to crystallize one Asian Voice on matters regarding vehicle standards and harmonization.
Joining this event as Philippine delegation, were representatives from MDPPA, Technical Chair Alexander Cumpas and Mr. Gilmar de Castro, together with Heads of the Philippine Delegation, PBr. Gen Ronnie S. Montejo, Director of LTO-Region III and Engr Ariel Deinla of DTI- BPS.
4W automobile industry was also represented by members from CAMPI.
