MASAAM/FAMI Photography Contest

MASAAM and University Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Department of Creative Photo media, Faculty of Art & Design, Puncak Alam have jointly organized FAMI/MASAAM photography contest from 1st March - 10th June 2019. MASAAM Secretariat has received 147 photos and on 26th June 2019, UiTM lecturers have shortlisted 30 photos for final selection.

MASAAM have appointed 4 UiTM lecturers and 3 from Media as follows to judge and finalise the winners on 27th June 2019/Thursday at MASAAM Office in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur.

1) 4 Lecturers from UiTM are:

a) Mr Nik Ridzuan Nik Yusoff

b) Ms Andrialis Abdul Rahman

c) Ms Nur Aniza Mohd Lazim

d) Ms Siti Norfatulhana Ishak

2) 3 from Media are:

a) Mr Hezerihisyam Samsuri from Careta Media Sdn Bhd

b) Mr Mohan from Driven Communications Sdn Bhd @ Paultan

c) Mr Dannis from DTI Communications Sdn Bhd @ Automachi

After the final selection, MASAAM Secretariat will inform all winners and invite them for the Announcement and Award day as follows:

Date/Day: 19th August 2019/Monday

Time: 2.00 – 4.30 pm

Venue: MASAAM office, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur.

Title: The Greatest Ever Motorcycle (Motosikal Terhebat)

Description/English Version:

The Motorcycle Cup is an affordable vehicle used by most rural and urban communities as early as the 50s in Malaysia. The picture above shows the old Motorcycle Cup into a lifeline especially to farmers to collect, bring and market various agricultural product to improve the family economy for survival. The excitement of an old farmer named Pok Su is quite well-known with the old motorcycles used to bring the durian fruit that falls early in the morning. The Greatness of the Motorcycle Cup has been proven to be rugged with a wide range of heavy loads, durability, low maintenance and low maintenance costs, the use of saving petrol and its fabulously easy rides in various shapes especially in Malaysia.

 

Ulasan/Bahasa Malaysia version:

Motosikal Cup merupakan kendaraan mampu milik yang digunakan oleh kebanyakkan mayarakat desa dan bandar seawall tahun 50an di Malaysia. Gambar di atas memaparkan Motosikal Cup lama menjadi nadi kepada kehidupan terutamanya kepada golongan petan untuk mengutip membawa dan memasarkan pelbagai hasil pertanian bagi meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga untuk kelangsungan kehidupan. Kegembiraan seorang petani yang telah berusia bernama Pok Su cukup terserlah Bersama motosikal cup lama yang digunakan untuk membawa buah durian tersebut yang gugup diawal pagi. Kehebatan motosikal Cup telah terbukti dari segi kelasakan membawa pelbagai muatan berat, ketahanan, kos penyelenggaraan yang rendah dan murah, penggunaan petrol yang jimat dan yang hebatnya mudah ditunggang di dalam pelbagai bentuk rupabumi terutama di Negara Malaysia.
